AirLifted Shock Patient with Stent Thrombosis Receives Immediate Impella Support

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Dr. Mehran Khorsandi presents a complex and intense case of a 65 y/o male who presented to an outside hospital with an Acute MI one day previous. An Aortic Balloon Pump and 3 mm stent resulted in stent thrombosis and an emergency air-lift to Cedars-Sinai where immediate hemodynamic support helped save this patient.
