Complex High-Risk PCI with Multiple Access Types

February 1, 2018

Dr. Mauricio Cohen presents a high-risk case review involving multiple comorbidities and multiple access types. The patient was turned down for surgery and presented with chest pain with a history of prior PCI to the LAD, emergency CABG, and inducible VT. Dr. Cohen’s team does an initial diagnostic cath, done radially, to present to the heart team for discussion about the treatment plan.

He meets with his team to develop an extensive case plan outline to use as a roadmap through the case. This is particularly helpful for Dr. Cohen’s fellows and to review the case at the end to determine what worked and what did not. Tune in to hear more about this complex case.
