Growing from 4 medical centers in the Detroit area, the initiative has grown to 65 IRB approved medical centers across the United States that have developed and implemented a cardiogenic shock protocol and actively enroll patients. Additionally, the initiative has helped develop community programs, academic institutions, and healthcare providers committed to improving outcomes in AMI cardiogenic shock.
