Dr. Seth Bilazarian recaps key themes emerging from TCT 2017, which took place October 30 – November 2 in Denver, Colorado. Many sessions at TCT this year showed a renewed interest in the treatment of patients in cardiogenic shock and high-risk PCI patients. Drs. Marty Leon, Bill O’Neill, and Navin Kapur presented the state of cardiogenic shock treatment, results from the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative, and the science of unloading, which were met with enthusiasm by attendees.
